This bicycle trail is just over 3 miles in length and hugs the Connecticut River. It is great for walking and running as well. It is flat and well maintained. The scenery is nice also as you will pass a nice bridge and plentiful views of the river. Surprisingly, we have never seen this path get too busy, but there are usually a few people on it each time we visit.

This short trail in Athol, Massachusetts is hidden just on the edge of the town. It makes for a memorable walk due to the interesting meadow and views of Miller River. Although it won't occupy your whole afternoon to take a walk here, it can certainly be a fun addition to any day.

This loop trail in the Berkshires of Massachusetts has plenty of scenery and plenty of bugs - at least during the summer. But don't let insects deter you from exploring this venue - whether alone, with friends, or with your dog. Jug End State Reservation is a worthwhile reason for visiting Egremont.

With alligators, lizards, egrets, and much more it may seem that the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary is a zoo. Well, it kind of is - but a natural one! With all the amazing scenery and well maintained, memorable boardwalk trail, this is one of the coolest places you will go in Florida. Skip Disneyland - come here! Well... don't skip Disneyland, but do come here for a beautiful walk through in a vibrant, animal-filled setting.
